If the person you love is about to be hit by a train, your well-meaning/idiotic corpse isn’t going to slow it down any - it’s a bloody TRAIN. Also, you’re lying. You wouldn’t do that. No one would. Lying idiot. If you are in a position to voluntarily throw yourself in the path of a train, you should probably do something else. Like NOT throw yourself in front of a train. “I would push your stupid ass off the train tracks so the train doesn’t hit you” is less time-consuming and sacrificial (and more likely to succeed). Awkward lyric though.
